The Cure

  • This film is known as "My friend Forever" in Japan. Young HIV-infected boy is befriended by town outsider; together they seek miracle cure for his disease. Undeniably affecting, yet uneven film is well-suited for mature kids and their parents. This is mostly about beautiful friendship. (1995)
  • When I saw this film first, I was 13. I cannot figure out how much I cried at the end of the film. I love the last scene, the scene of shoes! Really sad...but anyway, the scene is remarkable. I want to say all of mothers to watch this film with their kids to tell them the value of life.
